Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Protection Mechanism Failure via the parse_playlist function. An attacker can access restricted resources by supplying a crafted master playlist that references child playlists using disallowed protocols or non-multimedia local files, causing the process to open resources that should be blocked by the security policy.
