Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the rmdemux process when parsing a specially crafted RealMedia file containing a malformed FILEINFO metadata section. An attacker can cause the application to crash, hang, or potentially access limited adjacent memory contents by supplying a file with manipulated variable-name and variable-value pairs, exploiting the lack of offset validation and unvalidated element counts.
