The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the sun decoder. An attacker can cause an out-of-bounds heap write by submitting a specially crafted image file. This is only exploitable if the software is running on a 32-bit system and processes untrusted image files.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted or maliciously crafted image files on 32-bit systems, and by limiting the sources of image files processed.
