Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound via the tls_verify_call_back() function. An attacker can trigger a denial of service by supplying a specially crafted TLS certificate that causes i2d_X509() to return -1, which is then misused as a parameter to malloc(), potentially leading to a crash.
