CVE-2023-28322  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-440  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade libcurl to version 8.1.1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Expected Behavior Violation such that when doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback CURLOPT_READFUNCTION to ask for data to send, even when the CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS option has been set, if the same handle previously was used to issue a PUT request which used that callback.
