Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Unsynchronized Access to Shared Data in a Multithreaded Context during the LDAPS transfers. An attacker can impact the security of concurrent transfers by manipulating TLS settings in one thread, which may inadvertently alter the global configuration and affect other threads, potentially disabling certificate verification for unrelated transfers.
Note:
This issue affects only libcurl builds with "legacy" non-Windows LDAP support. Users of OpenLDAP and WinLDAP are not affected.
