CVE-2025-13034  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-295  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade libcurl to version 8.18.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the CURLOPT_PINNEDPUBLICKEY option or --pinnedpubkey with the curl tool. An attacker can intercept or impersonate a server by exploiting the lack of public key verification when a connection is established over QUIC using ngtcp2 with GnuTLS, and the user has explicitly disabled standard certificate verification.
