Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the fuse_uring_start process when io_uring thread creation fails due to resource exhaustion, such as cgroup pids.max limits. An attacker can cause process crashes and potentially execute arbitrary code by triggering resource exhaustion that leads to a dangling pointer being used during session shutdown. This is only exploitable if thread creation is constrained by cgroup pids.max or similar resource limits in the environment.
