Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Null Termination due to improper null termination in the ptp_unpack_Canon_FE function. An attacker can cause out-of-bounds reads by supplying crafted data that fills the filename buffer exactly, leading to unintended memory access during subsequent string operations.
