The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the HeifPixelImage::overlay() function. An attacker can cause a crash by supplying a crafted HEIF file with a malicious iovl overlay box that triggers a negative row length calculation, leading to a large out-of-bounds read during memory operations.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the decoding of images that use iovl overlay boxes.
