How to fix?

A fix was pushed into the master branch but not yet published.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) in the rpc_read_from_socket process in lib/socket.c during a connection to a crafted NFS server, when the expected PDU size exceeds the absolute PDU size from the xid/record-marker. An attacker can cause integer underflow and potentially achieve unauthorized access or data manipulation by sending specially crafted network packets.
