Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the parse_iad_array function. An attacker can cause a denial of service by supplying a malformed USB descriptor with a crafted bLength value, leading to a one-byte out-of-bounds read when processing USB interface association descriptors. This is only exploitable if the attacker has access to a virtualized environment with USB passthrough and can provide crafted descriptors through libusb_get_active_interface_association_descriptors or libusb_get_interface_association_descriptors.
