Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the vips_bandrank_build() function. An attacker can execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service, or potentially escalate privileges by manipulating the index argument to trigger a heap-based buffer overflow.
