The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the XML catalog parsing process when a nextCatalog element lacks the required catalog attribute. An attacker can cause the application to crash by supplying a specially crafted XML catalog file to an application that processes untrusted XML input.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted XML catalog files, exercising caution when handling XML documents from untrusted sources, and restricting applications from loading external XML catalogs or ensuring only trusted catalog files are used.
