The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch Reasoning: via the checkServerIdentity function in the TLS module. When a client connects using a non-canonical IPv4 hostname such as 0127.0.0.1, hostname normalization can produce an address different from the one the operating system resolver uses. An attacker who can cause the connection to reach an endpoint they control and present a trusted certificate with a DNS SAN matching the normalized hostname can have the client accept that certificate, enabling endpoint impersonation and interception of TLS communications.
