The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in OSSL_CMP_get1_rootCaKeyUpdate(). An attacker with credentials that satisfy the CMP message protection checks, such as a Registration Authority, can replace the root CA certificate held by affected CMP clients with an arbitrary one, escalating from RA level to root CA level. The attacker can generate a new key pair and present a self-signed certificate in its "id-it-rootCaKeyUpdate" messages, which is accepted as a new trust anchor.
