The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the DTLS handshake retransmission handling, which reuses the existing buffer position when a retransmission timer fires during a write that paused mid-message, rather than resetting to the start of the message. An attacker can read heap memory back as plaintext handshake data, or crash the process when the read reaches unmapped memory, by causing a write to suspend and then letting the retransmission timer fire. This requires a DTLS connection whose writes can be made to pause mid-message, and the overwritten tracking state also prevents the suspended operation from resuming correctly.
