Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the io->strict_read function. An attacker can cause arbitrary code execution or crash the application by supplying a crafted XWD file with a manipulated bytes_per_line value that triggers a write operation beyond the allocated heap buffer.
