Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the stbtt__buf_get8 function. An attacker can cause a denial of service by supplying a specially crafted TrueType Font file that triggers an out-of-bounds read during processing.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted TrueType font files and restricting font sources to trusted origins.
