CWE-665  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 exim4 to version 4.92-8+deb10u6 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream exim4 package and not the exim4 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Exim 4 before 4.94.2 has Improper Initialization that can lead to recursion-based stack consumption or other consequences. This occurs because use of certain getc functions is mishandled when a client uses BDAT instead of DATA.
