CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 exim4 to version 4.76-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream exim4 package and not the exim4 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

The DKIM implementation in Exim 4.7x before 4.76 permits matching for DKIM identities to apply to lookup items, instead of only strings, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or access a filesystem via a crafted identity.
