CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 ffmpeg to version 7:2.4.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream ffmpeg package and not the ffmpeg package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

The flashsv_decode_frame function in libavcodec/flashsv.c in FFmpeg before 2.1 does not properly validate a certain height value, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds array access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted Flash Screen Video data.
