CWE-189  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 google-perftools to version 0.7-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream google-perftools package and not the google-perftools package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Multiple integer overflows in TCMalloc (tcmalloc.cc) in gperftools before 0.4 make it easier for context-dependent attackers to perform memory-related attacks such as buffer overflows via a large size value, which causes less memory to be allocated than expected.
