CVE-2011-2696  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-119  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 libsndfile to version 1.0.25-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libsndfile package and not the libsndfile package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Integer overflow in libsndfile before 1.0.25 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted PARIS Audio Format (PAF) file that triggers a heap-based buffer overflow.
