CVE-2007-4767  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 pcre3 to version 7.3-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream pcre3 package and not the pcre3 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) library before 7.3 does not properly compute the length of (1) a \p sequence, (2) a \P sequence, or (3) a \P{x} sequence, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop or crash) or execute arbitrary code.
