CWE-287  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 python-asyncssh to version 1.12.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-asyncssh package and not the python-asyncssh package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

The SSH server implementation of AsyncSSH before 1.12.1 does not properly check whether authentication is completed before processing other requests. A customized SSH client can simply skip the authentication step.
