CVE-2006-0126  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 rxvt-unicode to version 6.3-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream rxvt-unicode package and not the rxvt-unicode package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

rxvt-unicode before 6.3, on certain platforms that use openpty and non-Unix pty devices such as Linux and most BSD platforms, does not maintain the intended permissions of tty devices, which allows local users to gain read and write access to the devices.
