NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream batik package and not the batik package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

Apache Batik is vulnerable to server-side request forgery, caused by improper input validation by the "xlink:href" attributes. By using a specially-crafted argument, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the underlying server to make arbitrary GET requests.
