How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 binutils to version 2.29-9 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream binutils package and not the binutils package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

The setup_group function in elf.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.29, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a group section that is too small.
