CVE-2007-3024  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 clamav to version 0.90.3-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream clamav package and not the clamav package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

libclamav/others.c in ClamAV before 0.90.3 and 0.91 before 0.91rc1 uses insecure permissions for temporary files that are created by the cli_gentempstream function in clamd/clamdscan, which might allow local users to read sensitive files.
