How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 exiv2 to version 0.9 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream exiv2 package and not the exiv2 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

Buffer overflow in Andreas Huggel Exiv2 before 0.9 does not null terminate strings before calling the sscanf function, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via images with crafted IPTC metadata.
