CVE-2015-3414 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Debian:11
sqlite3
to version 3.8.9-1 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream sqlite3
package and not the sqlite3
package as distributed by Debian
.
See How to fix?
for Debian:11
relevant fixed versions and status.
SQLite before 3.8.9 does not properly implement the dequoting of collation-sequence names, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (uninitialized memory access and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted COLLATE clause, as demonstrated by COLLATE"""""""" at the end of a SELECT statement.
