CWE-835  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 thrift to version 0.13.0-2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream thrift package and not the thrift package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

In Apache Thrift all versions up to and including 0.12.0, a server or client may run into an endless loop when feed with specific input data. Because the issue had already been partially fixed in version 0.11.0, depending on the installed version it affects only certain language bindings.
