NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream opensmtpd package and not the opensmtpd package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:12 relevant fixed versions and status.

OpenSMTPD before 5.3.2 does not properly handle SSL sessions, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (connection blocking) by keeping a connection open.
