How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:12 qtcreator to version 1.3.1-3 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream qtcreator package and not the qtcreator package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:12 relevant fixed versions and status.

Qt Creator before 2.0.1 places a zero-length directory name in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse shared library in the current working directory.
