NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream tuxguitar package and not the tuxguitar package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:12 relevant fixed versions and status.

TuxGuitar 1.2 places a zero-length directory name in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse shared library in the current working directory.
