How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:12 unrar-nonfree to version 1:6.1.7-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream unrar-nonfree package and not the unrar-nonfree package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:12 relevant fixed versions and status.

RARLAB UnRAR before 6.12 on Linux and UNIX allows directory traversal to write to files during an extract (aka unpack) operation, as demonstrated by creating a ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file. NOTE: WinRAR and Android RAR are unaffected.
