How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 archvsync to version 20171017 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream archvsync package and not the archvsync package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

Debian ftpsync before 20171017 does not use the rsync --safe-links option, which allows remote attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks via a crafted upstream mirror.
