How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 irssi to version 1.0.3-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream irssi package and not the irssi package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

In Irssi before 1.0.3, when receiving a DCC message without source nick/host, it attempts to dereference a NULL pointer. Thus, remote IRC servers can cause a crash.
