CWE-203  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 libjwt to version 1.17.0-2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libjwt package and not the libjwt package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

libjwt 1.15.3 uses strcmp (which is not constant time) to verify authentication, which makes it easier to bypass authentication via a timing side channel.
