CVE-2010-3384  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:13 torcs to version 1.3.1-5 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream torcs package and not the torcs package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:13 relevant fixed versions and status.

The (1) torcs, (2) nfsperf, (3) accc, (4) texmapper, (5) trackgen, and (6) nfs2ac scripts in TORCS 1.3.1 place a zero-length directory name in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse shared library in the current working directory.
