CVE-2013-2915  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:8 chromium-browser to version 30.0.1599.101-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream chromium-browser package and not the chromium-browser package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

Google Chrome before 30.0.1599.66 preserves pending NavigationEntry objects in certain invalid circumstances, which allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via a URL with a malformed scheme, as demonstrated by a nonexistent:12121 URL.
