CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:8 chromium-browser to version 49.0.2623.75-1~deb8u1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream chromium-browser package and not the chromium-browser package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The PPB_Flash_MessageLoop_Impl::InternalRun function in content/renderer/pepper/ppb_flash_message_loop_impl.cc in the Pepper plugin in Google Chrome before 49.0.2623.75 mishandles nested message loops, which allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via a crafted web site.
