How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:8 wireshark to version 1.0.1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream wireshark package and not the wireshark package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The syslog dissector in Wireshark (formerly Ethereal) 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via unknown vectors, possibly related to an "incomplete SS7 MSU syslog encapsulated packet."
