CVE-2017-14737  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 botan1.10 to version 1.10.17-1+deb9u1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream botan1.10 package and not the botan1.10 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

A cryptographic cache-based side channel in the RSA implementation in Botan before 1.10.17, and 1.11.x and 2.x before 2.3.0, allows a local attacker to recover information about RSA secret keys, as demonstrated by CacheD. This occurs because an array is indexed with bits derived from a secret key.
