How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 libapache2-mod-auth-mellon to version 0.12.0-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libapache2-mod-auth-mellon package and not the libapache2-mod-auth-mellon package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

The am_read_post_data function in mod_auth_mellon before 0.11.1 does not check if the ap_get_client_block function returns an error, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault and process crash) via a crafted POST data.
