How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 libnids to version 1.18-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libnids package and not the libnids package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

The TCP reassembly functionality in libnids before 1.18 allows remote attackers to cause "memory corruption" and possibly execute arbitrary code via "overlarge TCP packets."
