CVE-2003-0826  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 lsh-utils to version 1.4.2-6 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream lsh-utils package and not the lsh-utils package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

lsh daemon (lshd) does not properly return from certain functions in (1) read_line.c, (2) channel_commands.c, or (3) client_keyexchange.c when long input is provided, which could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a heap-based buffer overflow attack.
