NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mpg123 package and not the mpg123 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

mpg123 0.59r allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via an MP3 file with a zero bitrate, which creates a negative frame size.
