How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 nasm to version 0.98.38-1.2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nasm package and not the nasm package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

Stack-based buffer overflow in the ieee_putascii function for nasm 0.98 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted asm file, a different vulnerability than CVE-2004-1287.
